This conference will focus on important aspect of crude oil trading- financing, importation, refining, storage, supply, transportation, jetty operators, equipments suppliers, ship and product brokers and distribution, pipeline contracts, marketing and pricing of petroleum products, financial institutions and allied businesses in the oil and gas sector.

The event will be in a form of exhibition where business people with interest in oil and gas will converge and share ideas and connect to dealers who will exhibit their services.

Events marketing manager, George Di-Ibor, said the event is necessary following the surging demand and sub-optimal infrastructure, which makes Africa’s downstream markets one of the most exciting investment prospects globally.

“Total annual demand for clean product is about 75milliom MT, with West Africa alone accounting for almost a one-third……However, One of the challenge we have in Africa is poor infrastructure for downstream operations in the areas of refining, local shipping, storage, pipeline and haulage”.

George noted the exhibition will seek to answer questions about investing in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry and will be critical in dealing with how to improve Africa’s downstream sector.
